The cultural associations “Capreae Sirenum Tellus” and “Il Sogno di Ulisse” organize the first edition of “Capri Movie International Festival”, which will take place on the Island of Capri from 16 to 19 September 2020. It is a film competition with the goal of offering filmmakers an opportunity to express their talent.

SECTIONS

The Festival is divided into the following sections:

– Sguardi Animati: Italian and foreign works of a maximum duration of 20 minutes on a free theme and with any technique.

– International Looks: foreign works with a maximum duration of 20 minutes on an open topic.

– Sguardi Italiani: Italian works with a maximum duration of 20 minutes on an open topic.

– Sguardi Campani: works created by authors from the Campania region, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes on an open topic.

AWARDS

The Jury, made up of directors, actors and professional producers, will assign the following prizes at its sole discretion:

  • Best Animated Short Film Awards
  • Best Italian Short Film Award
  • Best International Short Film Award
  • Best short film by Campania author
  • Best Director Award Best Screenplay Award
  • Best Actor Award
  • Best Actress Award

The official prizes will also be accompanied by the Audience Award and Prizes awarded by sponsors.

REGISTRATION

Registration is free. The works must have been made after January 1, 2019. To register your work, send the material via the www.filmfreeway.com platform by August 20, 2020.

PRESELECTION

All the works sent will be selected by the Artistic Direction flanked by a special examining commission. Passing the pre-selection will result in admission to the screening evenings of the short films as finalists. The final selection of the films takes place by and at the discretion of the Festival’s Artistic Direction, with a suitable number for each of the sections envisaged in the competition.

RIGHTS

Those who register on FilmFreeway are personally responsible for the content of the works they register and declare, by registering for the Festival, that they have fulfilled all obligations towards third parties deriving from copyright. It is the responsibility of those who register the works to ensure that they are legitimately authorized to do so by any entitled to the work. Registration involves the inclusion of the work in the Festival Archive, excluding commercial use to protect the interests of the Authors and Producers. The Festival may use extracts from the finalist works in order to promote the event through its communication channels. The author and / or the production and / or the holder of the rights of each selected work authorize the publication of their data on the site and their eventual dissemination for promotional purposes.

PRIVACY

Information pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and art. 13 GDPR 679/16. The owners of the personal data sent by the participants are the organizers of the Festival. The same proceed to the processing of personal data exclusively for participation in the Festival and for other information on their activities. The data are available for any correction or modification relating to their use.
